Hi friend, I'm Amber!

Storyteller. Documentarian. Photographer.

I am a Minnesota wedding photographer based in Chaska, documenting covenant love stories rooted in real honest emotion and connection.

I have been crafting stories and creating art for as long as I can remember. From the beginning I have believed that every person and every couple, carries a story that mirrors God's design and love for His people.

What working with Amber feels like.

Picture this: you're in the middle of getting ready with your girls around you. Everything is happening, the makeup is being applied and the hair is being crafted. I walk in to your space, bringing a calm welcome with your favorite coffee from your favorite place in my hands. The overwhelming feeling subsides, and a knowing that I have got everything taken care of for the rest of the day.

As I walk around your venue, I pray a blessing over it. That God's love and peace would surround you.

Every moment my camera is out, I'm on the lookout for moments to capture. Whether it's your grandmother's teary eyes, or a wink from your dad you thought no one would see. I also capture your first kiss and the crowd going wild.

While we take photos throughout the day, there will be a moment where maybe you don't know what do you with your hands or how to stand. I guide you to a place that feels natural, and comfortable. Maybe one of the groomsmen cracks a joke and everyone laughs. My camera is up and capturing every moment, making sure I'm not interrupting anything that makes your day, yours.

About Amber

Photography is magic. It's the only thing that can preserve moments and capture every memory and feeling within it. As a daughter and granddaughter of women who were attached to their camera’s, and now get to relive those moments and tell their stories, photography isn’t just about taking the picture, it’s about capturing their essence.

I am a storyteller by nature, it’s what I believe the Lord has called me to. With that, I am able in my photography to capture the fullness of a moment, that in three, five, ten, thirty years down the road, you can remember the smell, the joy, the moment just by looking at the photos in your wedding gallery.

Your wedding photos aren’t just pictures you take on your wedding day, and this isn’t just a job for me. This is preserving life, preserving joy, happiness, love, and everything in between. These are once in a lifetime photos that will live on past you, and down to your grandchildren.

When looking at my grandparents picture books, it shows me how valuable photos actually are. So your photographer should hold the standard that these photos aren’t just photos, they’re memories.

When I'm not photographing, you will see me working at my local coffee shop, watching and crying over rom-coms, singing on my church's worship team, or eating a sweet treat after work.
